I had an opportunity to perform a baseline investigation at the original Shaker site located in Albany County, New York.  Over the course of several months I captured a number of photos that show apparitions I also was able to capture several videos of apparitions as they manifested.  Along with the videos and photos there are several audio recordings that resulted form the investigation. 

The photos of the apparitions will be published in book that I am working on. NOTICE: The Watervliet Shaker historic site in Colonie, New York is owned by Albany County and is regularly patrolled by the Albany County Sheriff Department.  The grounds of the historic site are closed to the public after dusk.  The County Sheriff Dept will stop and question anyone found on the grounds after dusk and will prosecute anyone who is deemed to be trespassing.  Shaker Heritage Society regularly offers opportunities for night time paranormal photography during organized workshop sessions.  See www.shakerheritage.org for details.

Preserving Our Shaker Heritage

The building that this was captured in was locked and the only two people with keys, the County Maintenance Supervisor and the Executive Director of the Shaker Heritage Society were both with me.  When listened through an equalizer with back ground static filtered out you can here a tap on the microphone then what sounds like a voice. It begins 10 seconds into the clip One last note, the microphone was on a stand and 5 feet off the ground. This building is where several photos of  apparitions taken.

Further into the audio there is a second tapping on the microphone this time you can hear movement of someone waking and doing something.  This one begins 5 seconds into the clip and the fades as the clip goes on. 

This photo shows a partial face. I am attempting to enlarge this without distorting the face. I will post it as soon as I can. The photos prior show no face and the photo after shows the face fully manifested (that photo will be published in the book).  You may save this to your computer then zoom in on it you may or may not see the face.  Just remember it is a partial face, of the nose checks part of the eyes. 

A good investigator will get to know their camera and equipment.  This means that you video or photograph dust, bugs and so on so that you know how your camera operates and how those images appear using that camera.  That said, this video is of an orb.  I was at the Shaker site in September of 2008.  I was attempting to capture an apparition of a boy who passed away as a result of an accident.  I did not know the exact location so I videoed several locations.  My camera with auto focus will often focus on entities and orbs when I am using the near infrared, it happens fast .  Just after the focus goes out and back in, you will see an orb appear in the road.   Was this the boy or another Shaker?
